Find another apprenticeship
Find another apprenticeship is for apprentices who have been made redundant. The site aims to help you continue your apprenticeship with another provider/employer. It has been launched by the government's new Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices.

*Aspire-igens' aspire2work opportunity centres are open again and are now enrolling learners on its aspire2work study programme for anybody age between 16 and 19 or up to age 25 for anyone with an education, health and care plan (EHCP). - Level 1 diploma in employability - it includes units giving an overview of business, childcare, and health and social care, as well as employability and personal development skills that will help you move on to employment and/or to further learning – there are also

- Diploma in business support Level 2, no entry requirements
- Diploma in introducing caring for children and young people Level 2, no entry requirements
- Certificate in childcare Level 3, must have English GCSE grade 4 minimum

- Certificate in health & social care Level 3 , must have English GCSE grade 4 minimum
- Functional skills and GCSE English and maths
Courses are roll on roll off throughout the year. Placements will depend on your needs. Attendance is flexible depending on your needs, up to 22.5 hours a week.

Babington will help you register by taking your details and helping you update your CV, so your application is ready to go when companies begin recruiting again. Help with interview technique will also be offered. The chartered accountant has offices in Sheffield, Chesterfield, Cleckheaton, Leeds and York, and is recruiting students with A levels or expecting results in August, into its trainee accountancy and taxation vacancies in all five offices. The college will be conducting interviews online and will be in touch with applicants directly explaining the process. Offering free taster sessions to give new learners a better insight into its apprenticeships. The sessions are live and are taken from Estio's apprenticeship programmes and delivered remotely by its trainers. Offers traineeships in business admin and childcare for young people aged between 16 and 24 who want to find a job or apprenticeship but need help to develop their skills and ideas (682kb and 736kb PDF). Traineeship include work experience for up to six months. You can now do a Traineeship even if you have a Level 3 qualification. Interested applicants should apply online, complete the short application form and attempt the seven online modules. JTL will then guide the applicant through its recruitment process, which involves a short telephone discussion and a colour blindness test. If you have an employer you will be receiving a letter to let you know how and when your enrolment is. This varies department to department and is planned in accordance with your employer's wishes as well, so for example some will be enrolled while in the workplace, others will be telephone enrolled.
If you do not have an employer you will be contacted with the option of enrolling on a full-time college course.

If you are interested in catering and hospitality, NACRO is offering a Level 1 and Level 2 qualification in hospitality and catering, to start in August/September 2020 (253kb PDF). You should be between 16 and 18 to apply. You will learn all about preparing food and drink, serving customers and taking bookings, try out recipes, practice making drinks and preparation for a job in the catering and hospitality sector, as well as get a chance to go on placement. The training leads to jobs as a food server, waiter or chef, barista in a coffee shop, bar person or hotel manager, or further training including an apprenticeship. All trainees will be given a free personal catering uniform. You may also be eligible for financial support to help with the cost of studying. Offers traineeships for young people aged between 16 and 24, who would like a job or apprenticeship but need help to get the knowledge, skills and experience employers are looking for. A traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that lasts for up to six months. Training will include work preparation training, studying English and maths if you have not achieved a grade C/4 or above in your GCSEs, and a work experience placement. *Woodspeen is now runing a new traineeship programme for 16 to 18 year olds in Kirklees. The traineeship will include being in the training centre for four months, followed by a two month work placement with an employer. The following subject areas are available:
- ICT
- Health and social care
- Childcare
- Business admin
- Hair and barbering
To start on the traineeship, you will NOT yet have a level 2 in maths and English (that means you do NOT have a GCSE grade 4 or above in one or both) and you do NOT already have a Level 3 qualification.
